Seattle DSA Party Fundraiser for Safe Homes for All August 9, 2026 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM Kavela Apartments, 845 NE 66th St Fl 6, Seattle, WA 98115 Join Seattle DSA for a party fundraiser for Safe Homes for All! This November Tacoma will vote on a ballot initiative that Tacoma DSA is helping lead to strengthen enforcement of renters rights. The Tacoma Business Council, WA Policy Center, Rental Housing Association of WA, and Tacoma Chamber of Commerce are opposing the initiative. They will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to mislead voters like they did in 2023. Tacoma DSA's Tenant Bill of Rights initiative in 2023 became the SINGLE most expensive campaign in Tacoma history. 90% of opposition money came from outside Tacoma! Yet we overcame their misinformation through determined grassroots organizing. Fall Field Launch August 22, 2026 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM People's Park, 900 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Tacoma, WA 98405 Join us to launch the Fall field campaign for Safe Homes for All! Our team worked hard to get Safe Homes placed on the ballot and now it's time for us to take on the landlord lobby and deliver a win for tenant families at the November Ballot. Event will start with training for all our new volunteers. Please bring a charged phone and weather appropriate clothing.
