Join us for upcoming screenings our new documentary A Hope That Lights The Way!

The film tells the stories of nine community leaders and organizations who are investing in our youth and doing the work to change the narratives around gun violence in Philadelphia. We believe that amidst the heartbreaking narratives in the news, tales of hope are equally present. Along with a screening of the film, you will get a chance to connect with the filmmakers, featured community leaders and researchers who all made this film possible. 

A Hope That Lights The Way was produced in partnership with Big Picture Alliance, and anchored in ethnographic research led by our academic partners from Temple University. A Hope That Lights The Way would not be possible without creative direction from the Mayor's Office of Black Male Engagement, Mayor's Office of Youth Engagement (OYE) and Faith-Based & Interfaith Affairs (FBIA).
