In America, we have no kings.
Power does not belong to billionaires, to strongmen, or to politicians who believe they are above accountability; it belongs to the people, and it's our responsibility to use it. The people in power make decisions that affect our lives, our communities, and our future. Elections determine who holds that power, and right now, our elections are under unprecedented attack. We're seeing alarming efforts to weaken voting rights and make it harder for us to make our voices heard. In times like these, when our rights are threatened, we must work together to protect our elections and ensure every vote is counted.
Here in Baltimore on October 17th, the Baltimore Running Festival is taking over the city, and Charm City Indivisible will be waving signs at multiple locations along the marathon route as well as canvassing our neighbors attending the event with critical information about how to cast their ballot and protect their vote.
On top of the CCI sign waves, partner organizations across the city are organizing festivals and marches to protest the erosion of our rights and ensure everyone who wants to vote this year can. Want to spend a full day resisting the regime? We've got you covered!
If you're looking to get more involved, we're still looking for volunteers to help CCI and our partners on No Kings Day. Keep reading to learn how to get involved and how to find the No Kings Day event nearest you!

No Kings: Run to the Polls
The runners are hitting the streets this No Kings Day, and so is Charm City Indivisible! We'll be waving signs at multiple locations along the marathon route, cheering on the runners, and canvassing our neighbors attending the event with critical information about how to cast their ballot and protect their vote – and we want you out there with us!
Join us at one of our locations along the route to remind Baltimoreans that their voices and votes matter. Bring your energy, your enthusiasm, your commitment to democracy, and your clever signs urging people to Run to the Polls. We'll provide you with election resources for distribution. Your registration email will have more details about where to meet.
Let's line the route, make some noise, and send one message across Baltimore: USE YOUR VOICE — VOTE EARLY!

No Kings: Defend Our Rights

The organizers and activists who came before us fought for our rights to exercise our power – by voting, by protesting, by going on strike, and much more. Today, however, those rights are in jeopardy, threatened by billionaires and strongmen desperate to hold onto as much power as they can.
This Saturday, we're coming together to defend our rights. Join us, and together, we'll resist the erosion of our rights by the regime and make sure our friends and neighbors understand how to use their voices, too.
