Everybody who attends will get to line up to urge the committee to vote Yes on 42. The hearing starts at 9:00am, but meet outside Hearing Room 444 at 8:45am to hear what to say and be sure to get a seat. Carpools available from some areas if you sign up soon enough. POSSIBLE Lobby Day for California Fair Elections Act Lobbying August 18, 2025 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM California State Capitol, 1315 10th St, Sacramento, CA 95814 DATE NOT SET YET. Join us for the Clean Money lobby day for SB 42 the California Fair Elections Act! We start with training on how to talk with legislators and their staff about it, then break into groups with experienced Clean Money speakers to lobby key legislators. Carpools available (tell us below if you can offer one!), and we'll reimburse gas costs. Exact meeting place TBD. Depending on how many people sign up we may have a rally at the Capitol at noon.
