Every year, the Washington Bus Education Fund runs Bus Underground, a free program designed to bridge access and build community for young advocates and organizers. This program is perfect for young people interested in pursuing a career in organizing, integrating advocacy into their daily lives, or applying these skills to other career paths.

Bus Underground aims to create a “third space” for young people in the advocacy community—a collaborative environment where youth gain the agency, connections, networks, tools, and resources needed to run their own campaigns and effectively advocate for their communities.

Our Vision: Building a better future starts with empowering youth. By providing them with a dedicated space to organize and connect with peers in the advocacy community, Bus Underground offers the support and opportunities they need to thrive as current and future leaders.
