Poder Latinx and Civic Engagement Coalition are proud to be coming to Tifton, GA to support our community and Farmworkers. This supply drive isn’t just about gathering supplies, it’s about standing with you and providing real, tangible support for your health, safety, and future. By joining us, you’ll gain access to free medical exams through our partnership with the Latin Community Fund, ensuring you and your family receive the care you deserve. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet with experts from Asian American Advancing Justice, who will provide free citizenship advice and guidance to help you navigate the path to legal status. Beyond these essential services, your participation will amplify your voice in the fight for fair policies, safer working conditions, and energy affordability, because your experiences deserve to be heard and acted upon. Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities, and your presence makes all the difference.

Join Poder Latinx and community organization to celebrate Civic Health Month! To celebrate Civic Health Month, we will host our second annual health resource fair. Community members will hear from doctors about the importance of student athletes’ health, the importance of proper nutrients for student athletes, and the importance of clean air.
We should not choose our job over our health or the health of our loved ones. Having access to paid leave is not a luxury, it’s a right to all workers. Workers should have access to paid leave to seek medical attention, provide care for a loved one, and/or bond a new family member.
Student athletes will receive free sport physicals on a first-come, first-served basis. Students of 18 and younger would need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Community members are welcome to seek a doctor for a check up.
