The Indiana General Assembly has advanced a ballot measure to voters that would dramatically reduce the right to bail under the Indiana Constitution. If voters advance this measure, judges would then decide to keep any Hoosiers incarcerated who they deem are a threat to public safety, not constitutional protection. This means more neighbors are incarcerated, and people we care about are being kept behind bars. But we can do something about this.
