We are all reeling from the energy of the biggest protest in American history! Join RW&B as we share protest stories with each other, discuss happenings in your area, and find out the best ways to have an impact on upcoming elections. Let's harness the power of the people by showing up where it counts the most: the ballot box.
We will also be writing postcards- not only to our representatives, but also to our family and friends encouraging them to make a plan for the May 5th election and reminding them of the importance of their vote.
We'll have snacks, swag, and resources to share. Please bring ideas, concerns and your own beverage.:)

Are you a nature-lover and want to connect, vent, and get involved? Join us as we take to the trails of Erie County! We will meet on the first Saturday of each month to check out some of the coolest, birdiest areas of the county, enjoy some fresh air and exercise, and have conversations with like-minded people. I will always have the latest RW&B resources and calls to action to share, so you will be able to stay involved with all the amazing things we are doing in your area and in the state!
We will usually meet at 9:00am at Gathering Grounds in Huron to enjoy a beverage before heading out. Then, we'll walk to the nearby pier and area, or drive/carpool to other nearby spots around the county based on weather and birds.
*Walks will be on the easy-moderate level, always taking into consideration the needs of the group. If you are unable to walk with us, you are always welcome to join us for the coffee chat beforehand!

Groceries, childcare, housing, and healthcare - it feels like everything costs more lately. Join Red Wine & Blue for a welcoming conversation about affordability and the real costs families are facing every day.
We’ll break down what’s actually driving rising costs, cut through political talking points, and talk honestly about what affordability means for our households and our communities.
Together, we’ll share experiences and leave feeling more confident talking about these issues with friends, family, and neighbors. Real change starts with friend-to-friend conversations, the most powerful way to share ideas, build understanding, and grow a movement in our communities.

What does it really take to make ends meet today?
Join us for Walk in Their Shoes: An Affordability Challenge, an interactive simulation where participants step into the role of a community member navigating the difficult financial choices many families face every day. Through this hands-on experience, you’ll make real-world decisions about housing, childcare, transportation, groceries, healthcare, and more, all while trying to balance a limited budget.
The simulation is designed to build empathy and understanding for the pressures created by today’s affordability crisis and the tough trade-offs many of our neighbors must make just to get by. After the simulation, we’ll come together for a conversation about the strategy plan Red Wine & Blue is implementing this year and how people across Pennsylvania are organizing to raise their voices, advocate for practical solutions, and support policies that help families thrive.

Voting rights are under attack and a pending case before the U.S. Supreme Court, Callais v. Louisiana, could be one of the most consequential decisions for the future of our democracy.
Join us to hear from Janai Nelson of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, who argued this case before the Court. Janai will break down what the case is about, why it matters so deeply for voting rights, and how it could reshape the protections established under the Voting Rights Act of 1965. She’ll explain how the Court could weaken legal safeguards on voting and what that would mean for fair representation and access to the ballot across the country.
This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from a lead attorney on the front lines of one of the most important voting rights cases of our time.

Did you know there are elections on May 5th in parts of Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Township, Rochester Hills? These votes directly impact public school funding for Avondale Schools and they’re often decided by a small number of people.
In 2025, more school bonds and millages failed than passed for the first time. Let’s not repeat that in 2026.
Join Nicole for a morning of crafting and conversation as we talk about how to spread the word, make a plan to vote on May 5th for Avondale Schools, and encourage our community to vote YES!
Bring a friend, everyone is welcome!
