About Marla:
Marla Keethler, the current mayor of White Salmon, is running for the Washington State Senate to represent the 17th Legislative District. With a background in broadcast journalism and a career that includes producing coverage for six Olympics, Marla brings a wealth of experience and dedication to public service. She has served as both a city council member and mayor of White Salmon, where she focused on key issues such as affordable housing, childcare, and public infrastructure. Marla is running for State Senate to help bridge gaps in our politics, better connect people to the services and support they deserve, and ensure progress on childcare and affordable housing is felt in every city no matter the size.
